Apart from its main business- estate agency,
Midland Realty (Holdings) Limited (the "Group") also
provides property valuation services for its Clients, through
its two subsidiaries namely, Midland Surveyors Limited (MSL) based
in Hong Kong and Midland Surveyors (Macau) (MSM) based in Macau.
MSM, a sister-branch of MSL which is a wholly owned subsidiary
of the Group. The latter was founded in 1989 by Mr Ronald Cheung
and a team of qualified surveyors and other professionals, which
has grown stronger and stronger and is now a well-established
surveying firm in Hong Kong.
MSM is dedicated to providing its Clients with a full range of
valuation, property investment and development consultancy services,
and is experienced in valuation of all types of properties - residential,
commercial, industrial and agricultural land- in Hong Kong, Macau
and Mainland China for all purposes such as mortgage, merger and
acquisition disposal, accounting, lease renewal and appeal against
stamp duty, estate duty, rating assessment and resumption etc.
MSM (or "MSL") also specializes in the valuation of
properties in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Asian countries for
initial public offer (IPO) purpose. MSL's clients who were successful
in listing on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited include
Fast System Technology (Holdings) Limited, Satellite Devices Corporation,
Kanstar Environmental Technology Holdings Limited, Asian Information
Resources (Holdings) Limited, Buildmore International Limited,
Century Sunshine Ecological Technology Holdings Limited and JW
International Holdings Limited etc.
Apart from the above valuation service, MSL is conversant in
providing a wide range of professional services such as auction,
tender, sale, letting, sole agency and management of properties.
MSL's tender results, in particular, are encouraging. On average,
the yearly sales are over HK$500 million.
In addition, MSM provides professional consultancy works such
as development feasibility study, market analysis, lease modification,
planning application, market research, project management, property
management and so forth. Recently MSM is actively engaged in organizing
assembly of strata titles and collective tendering for whole blocks
of buildings to realize their development potential.
Whilst continuing to contribute to the Group's growth, MSM has
also established a project investment team specializing in introducing,
together with professional analysis, significant and valuable
properties to investors, institutions and corporate clients etc.
MSM believes that Clients are the most valuable asset. It, therefore,
